Uni is starting soon and I have still not been able to choose a specific uni yet. These decisions were also previously affected by the lockdowns as I am located in Brisbane, but now I have gotta choose real quick and was wondering if anyone had any tips or any information about the two unis. I also got accepted into the UQ Bachelor of Arts, but however did not get into the BPsych(Hons) at UQ.
Having lived in Hong Kong for half my life, I do think that Brisbane can be quite boring and miss the more lively culture that I hope Melbourne can somewhat live up to.
I’ve heard a lot of bad things about the Bachelor of Psychology at Monash, however it would be easier for me to get into my fourth year compared to the BA (Honours). I’m looking to become a registered Psychologist, so entry into the fourth year is pretty important to me. Right now I am leaning towards UniMelb because they offer more support for online learning, and that gives me more time to move from QLD to VIC. Plus, the added bonus of being able to live close to/in the city.
