Dockless e-bikes set to return to Melbourne streets with Uber partnership

Dockless electric bicycles are set to hit the streets of Melbourne next month as part of a new bike-share scheme to be trialled across three inner-city councils.

The City of Melbourne has announced a 12-month trial of the new program after signing a memorandum of understanding with Uber.

The program will include a 24-hour complaint line and will require the operator to remove dumped or damaged e-bikes within set timeframes.
